(Turbo Turning Grade)
Preferred grade for the highest cutting speeds for light to medium turning work on structural steel, alloyed steel and spheroidal irons, even with occasionally interruped cutting. Additional area of application; also suitable for working grey cast iron.    [top]

LC225C(HC-P25-HC-M15)
(Global Turning Grade)
Main grade for machining steel materials and easily machinable stainless steels at medium cutting speeds. Including interruped cutting work. This general purpose grade is characterised by the properties of high durability and excellent toughness across a wide range of applications.    [top]

Ti220 (HC-P15-HCK15)
For turning at high cutting speeds with medium depths of cut of steel and steel castings, lowalloy and spheroidal cast iron. Very high wear resitance, coating TiC-A1203 multilayer - TiN    [top]

Ti240 (HC-P20-P40; HC-M20-M40)

LC610A (HC-K10) (Diamond coated)
High performance for plastic materials like glass fibre and carbon fibre composites. Also, for aluminium-silisyum alloys.    [top]

R2414 (HC-K10, HC-M10)
The ideal grade fan working aluminium materials and other non-ferrous metals. Thank to a very thin micropulse plasma CVD TiAIN coating. It is also excellent for finish machining of stainless steels and grey cast iron.    [top]

SB10 (HW-P10)
Turning and copy turning in the small to medium cutting and feed range. Very well suited to thread peeling and thread cutting.    [top]

SB20 (HW-P20)
For turning in the medium cutting and feed range, also at various cutting depths. also suitable for peeling.    [top]

SB30 (HW-P30)
Rough turning at low cutting speeds, but with large chip cross-sections and in difficult conditions and interrupted cutting.    [top]

SB40 (HW-P40)
For rough turning at low cutting speeds, but with large interruped cutting.

HB10 (HW-K10)
Classic hard metal grade for turning short-chipping materials, standard grade for driling, countersinking ad reaming steel. Also for channeling chilled cast iron cylinders.    [top]

HB10S (HW-K05-K15)
For turning chilled iron casting. grey cast with spheroidal graphite and alloyed grey cast iron as well as for aluminium and aluminium alloys. Turning high grade and hardened steels, also for austenitic manganese stells.    [top]

Cermet grades

CERMET LT220 (P20, M20)
Based on TiC(CN) and TiN, Cermet LT220 combines the benefits of ceramics and its properties, such as wear resistance, hardness, oxidation resistance and high-temperature resistance, and the advantages of metal and its properties, such as impact strength and tenacity. The result is outstanding finish at high cutting speeds and consistent dimensional accuracy.    [top]

For fine working and micro-finishing continuous chip and short-chipping metarials at cutting speeds and feed rates.    [top]


BC725 CERMET (HT-P05-320, HT-M05-20)
